The Little Prince - vocabulary from chapter number 6 and 7.
I need to reveal a memory from my childhood. When I was 11, I got a rose plant from my parents. I really cared about this rose. I watered it everyday and sometimes I fertilized it to make it grow faster. I used to like sitting next to the rose to rest. My brother said that my new hobby was of no use at all. I knew he told me that out of malice. I didn't hold on to any resentfulness. I never let go of caring for my rose and soon noticed that the flower started to blossom. I swelled with pride, because it was a beautiful rose. One day my parent's goat just ate my wonderful flower. I was pale with rage and burst into tears. When I got back home my mum comforted me and reassured me we would get a new flower.
